피아니스트 겸 작곡가인 이진욱은 아직 대중에게는 널리 알려지지 않은 아티스트이다. 하지만 그는 다방면에서 연주가 혹은 프로듀서로 활동한 음악적 내공이 쌓여 있는 준비 된 신인이다. 바이올리니스트 유진 박의 피아노 반주자로, 일렉트로 그룹 <캐스커>의 co-producer로, 각종 뮤지컬의 음악 편곡 및 슈퍼바이저로 활동해 온 그는 폭 넓은 장르를 소화하고 끊임 없이 도전하는 차세대 뮤지션 이다. [The Waltz Style]은 그의 첫 정규1집 앨범으로 총 12곡으로 구성 되어 있으며 전곡 이진욱이 직접 작곡,편곡 하였다.  전자음과 각종 테크니컬한 음악들로 부터 노출되어 있는 현대인들에게 따스한 봄날 같은 안식처가 되어 줄 크로스오버 장르의 연주곡들 이다.
자신의 음악과 함께 한가로이 공원의 벤치에 앉아 스치는 바람을 마주하며 소소한 옛 추억들을 떠올리고 미소 지을 수 있었으면 좋겠다는 그의 바람은 앨범에 고스란히 담겨져 있다.
